Reading a story about New York's bridges in
Popular Photography this morning, I felt inspired to post a bridge picture or two. I snapped this from the Brooklyn side of the bridge (for those who don't know, the
Verrazano-Narrows Bridge spans from Brooklyn to
Staten Island) - these
seagulls were lined up on the railing and using a telephoto, snapped this quickly and quietly. Just behind me, the
Belt Parkway - there is a small parking area for those to stop and admire.
