"Snowball Across The Face!"

"Snowball Across The Face!"

I met Dylan Lappin (right) and his lifelong buddy while out shooting the New York's first blizzard of 2010.  He yelled from across the street "hey buddy, take a shot of me doing a back flip in to a tremendous mound of snow".  Did that and we got to talking and eventually shooting more "Jackass" sort of fun, absurd and relatively dangerous stuff - this was just painful (and painful to watch) but they had a blast doing it.  More to come on this and maybe even an entire series.

"Stormin' The Net"

"Stormin' The Net"

Shot as a still for the documentary "Coached into Silence" for director/producer/friend Chris Gavagan.  Chris took me to the place where he played hockey as a youth - the gate was open for us to just walk in which amazed Chris.  So, we were in business and I shot away,  This was the image that left a lasting impression on me - it tells of the storm about to roll in on abusive coaches.
